DOWN TO BUSINESS

Where would we be without the invisible hand? Though don't forget that if that's all that mattered in life, our existence would be incredibly shallow and dull.

It's sometimes difficult for people to manage the balance between two extremes, but it can be done. I try to do this by maintaining an awareness of the contributions I'm making do whatever business I'm supporting at any given time. When I look up and realize I've been working on a project for four straight 16-hour days, it's time to step back and make sure other aspects of my life are getting the attention they deserve.

The best way I've found to do this is to become very efficient at business tasks. This helps everyone- particularly my employer, business partners, share holders, etc.

Here we look at some of the ways I'm able to do this. These things have worked for me and by sharing them I hope you'll find something useful yourself- if not only to get a better appreciation for how I work.
